When Google Talk first came out, I was kind of disappointed. I had hoped that they would combine MSN and AIM, but they didn't.
Have their been any improvements since they released it?

Oh yeah, it's displayed on the left hand side of the gmail inbox everytime I log in. Is it that? I've never really much used it. |

google talk is a good software for online chatting...
it is a free software available on the google site....
members of the gmail can use this software without creating another account on google talk.....google talk works like as a yahoo messenger on the yahoo site....the only difference is that google talk is for google users and yahoo messenger is for yahoo users..

Like you say, it's handy from that perspective as it's already incorporated into the mail client. |

I don't like google talk too. They don't have stealth setting to a specific person only.
