I found that my sites are fast index by Yahoo compare to Google. Anyone also notice this? But the problem is not much traffic send from them.

Yahoo counts all links, so that can make your site indexed in Yahoo faster than Google. Google has become very selective, so you can't get your site indexed in Google using any link.

yea, google is picky, thats why i dont like them that much lol, i dont get too much traffic from yahoo either, but its a fair amount, i get like 300 hits a month from msn and like 200-600 from yahoo, depending on the month lol

Google typically brings you the most traffic. Market share in US is like 60% and Google generally has even bigger market shares in non-US countries. There are a couple of exceptions though. If I remember correctly, South Korea has its #1 search engine, and it's not Google.

baidus is also a big search engine from somewhere in asia, but not sure from where exactly.
And yahoo has the reputation for beeing an agressive spider.
It's also the bot I see the most on my forum, but hardly get any traffic from it. |
