It's not easy, but Yahoo is a little more predictable than Google. It's getting more and more difficult to find what links Google is counting. Yahoo generally counts all links. Yahoo also puts emphasis on actual text on each page.

Yahoo never really indexes tens of thousands of pages at once. Yahoo indexes pages gradually. So, even if you have tens of thousands of unique pages, it'll take quite a while for you to start getting traffic from Yahoo. Also it appears that you need to have many many links to get traffic from Yahoo; you need links from authority sites, but you also need links from many other places. That takes time and effort.

Yahoo does index new sites very fast, but that doesn't mean that Yahoo will start bringing you traffic right away. It'll be a while before Yahoo starts brining you traffic typically. MSN/Live typically indexes new sites even faster, but MSN/Live doesn't bring a lot of traffic.

i like yahoo more than google lol, i get like 2000 backlinks from yahoo somehow, less than a 100 with google, im finding it easy to rank there

Yahoo basically counts all links. Google is much more selective, and this is why you need to acquire links selectively, which can become a bit tricky.

lol google sounds picky, but with all the search engines together,i have thousands of backlinks in all, so its all good, hope that helps my pr to get up
