Have noticed recently a lot of theads being started by, I assume, the site owner/admin asking questions, while I think this is good to get content going on the site, there are that many being posted in each forum it is pushing the active discussions to the bottom and looks when you first come to the thread list that no one but this one person is posting.

Just a suggestion, but maybe not so many/as frequent?

Yeah, probably less new threads. There were days that the forum got a lot of replies, so I added quite a few new threads, but it's been pretty slow for the last couple of days, so maybe I'll create less new threads now. Perhaps I can create a new forum or two.

That's a good start. How many do you think came from PostFusion? Everyone?

Most of the current members are from Post Fusion. A couple of members from another post exchange. Not that many "real" members signed up yet. Patience is a virtue.

Yup, a forum starting out would have to use a boost like that, I would say if you want new members, maybe make a marketplace for advertising or selling. They always attract members. Just plain old discussion will not be as likely.
