Google recently created the new page label "Supplemental". What are supplemental pages? Why are they labeled "Supplemental"? _________________ Online Education |

You should also find "Supplemental" label or sign or mark or classification or whatever you want to call. Not all listed pages have this label, but some do. Do you find it? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

Some speculate that they are less important than regular pages. Some say that there is not much difference. I haven't quite figured out what it is, but I'm guessing that it ought to mean something; otherwise, what's the point of labeling some pages "Supplemental"? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

If you do this
site:mysite.com and click on like page 10 you will start to see the "supplemental" pages at the end. |

Supplemental pages will not be shown unless there are no nosupplemental pages. This is defiantely going to hurt you if your pages are supplemental. The way to avoid them is to avoid duplicate content. _________________ Webmaster Community |

| I think supplementary pages do exist in the index, they just aren't given as much importance, majorly because they dont have many inbound links from different site. Basically, its caused because people link to their site's homepage, with little if any deep links(to the in-site-pages). |

That's my guts feeling. They have hard time making their index bigger and bigger and they're essentially finding a workaround. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |
