Personally, I don't believe in all these advertising schemes  .They might get you traffic, but never "quality" traffic.

Myspace doesn't get your 100% quality traffic, but if you target the right niche, such as sent messages/bulletins to a group of people who are interested in games for your game site, it is great marketing.

Can you advertise a business like web promotion and internet marketing using MySpace? Can you also market a discussion forum like this webmaster forum?

Wow, I knew that some people used myspace to promote their sites, but I never knew it was so popular because of that 
What I mostly see being promoted is just bands.

Myspace is popular, its out there, thats its.
Some people don't even know what My Yahoo is. And have you heard of a teenager that doesn't know what Myspace is? Nope.
