When you're starting a forum, how many posts should be made a day? _________________ Online Education |

Well right now my Arcade Forum is at 35 posts a day. Myself I was about 15 of those posts but in the last week I have been averaging only 8. For a brand new site. started on July 5, that I think is pretty good.
I have another older siet that I have kind of put aside and it still has an average of 2 posts a day, which is not enough to be self-sustaining but not quite dead.
My goals are 50 a day for my arcade forum which I would like to reach by December and then my other forum should be 25 by that time too. _________________ Webmaster Blog | Free forums | Free Hit Counter |

Well, while your forum is starting out, you should be making at least 10 posts a day of varying discussion levels. _________________ Website Reviewer - Reviewing the best sites on the internet. |

Depends. If you have 9 forums as I have then 20 is the best you can do. If you have less forums, then you can go with even more numbers. .. _________________ Webmaster Tips & Tricks - Music forums - Movie forums |

Depends how popular you want it to be really, think its more about quality rather than quantity though _________________ PooQ - www.pooq.co.uk

At the very beginning, I shoot to make about 100 topics, about two for each board every day. _________________ www.nerdcouncil.com - Forums are finally done!!! |

Maybe about 15 - 40, don't make it all yourself, this won't attract signups either, its the same as talking to yourself or only to one person the whole time, use different usernames. _________________ Paid Web Directory |Adversal - $6 CPM |

I don't think you can really say a number. It depends what you're posting, how many other members there are, how many different forums you have on your board and a whole myriad of other factors. _________________ Business Forums - Sport Forums - Travel Forums |

Have you done anything to try to achieve this? If so, what?

Hire a posting service in India? If you do that and if you're located in US/UK (or Europe), then you can cover pretty much all time zones, can't you? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

I suppose that would be one simple solution.
Also maybe create forums to accommodate different regions. With my travel board, this isn't too much of an issue for us as have a good range of geography in our members on that board, for obvious reasons.

Aaron | I presume that pretty much everyone chats about same SEO issues, so SEO forum can target pretty much everyone around the world. ... but I don't know, ... probably I should just focus on posting a little more consistently, i.e., everyday. Making a 24-hours-round-the-clock active forum isn't exactly a short term goal. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |
