I think I like Spielberg a lot. Some of my favourite movies are his and this could explain this. He's a bit overrated now, but he's not bad either

He has become more like a business man. He still directs movies, but I get the impression that he makes movies as a business man today rather than as a movie director.

Yes, he does. I personally think that he's selling out too cheaply. Money talks, I guess. His name is an established brand name, so he can make a very nice living just by selling his name.

Sadly, money talks for most celebs these days. They are promoting anything and everything. I personally couldn't promote something I didn't believe in or use myself, given I was already rich and didn't need the money.

They're promoting even political parties nowadays while many of them don't stand for anything in reality. Sad ...

Paul Haggis
He wrote screenplays of Million Dollar Baby and Crash, and he directed Crash. He has apparently spent many years in LA, but he's actually a Canadian.
