I would first convert it to £££s (I live in the UK) and then buy a reasonable sized house for me and my family and then with the rest get into the property development business and buy up cheap houses in need of restoration with the aim of selling on at a profit.

Take a little time and hire someone to manage all my sites. Once I do that, I'll travel a bit. After a couple of months or several months, I'll think about what to do next.

I would initially sort out my family, make sure they all were secure and they had what they wanted. I would buy a bigger house and still enter into the World of property development, but with the extra cash as mentioned in the question I would have a bigger portfolio and larger projects.

I agree with Phil to an extent... I'd ensure that my family and my wife's family were comfortable. I would then look to invest a sum to safeguard our future, potentially in property but perhaps also shares. And I'd like to do something charitable with the proceeds.

I would pay off our house, do it up a bit (nothing too flash, i love our house), buy my husband his dream car, put a million away for my kids future and our retirement, and have a big holiday. Then i'd settle back down to our normal every day life, not too much would change.

I would visit Japan. I would open a shelter for the stray dogs in Roomania (they are in an awful situation). Would invest in my own firm (make one first) and get a VW Beetle (new beetle)
