One of downsides of selling text link ads by yourself is that you need to write your own terms and conditions so that your advertisers won't be suing you. Am I totally misunderstanding this? Should you be concerned about lawsuits at all? |
I wouldn't be too worried myself. I spent about 2 hours writing my terms for one of my sites, set up a PP subscribe button and told them to cancell teh subscription during the period that they would like me to get rid of the links.
I also like to make sure that my terms are public knowledge and when I have sold links I have done it as an auction on major webmaster forums where evreything is in the open

I design sites. I sell ad space. I will sell hosting soon. I have Adsense. I am not making too much money since I wasn't that serious about this, but I am starting contemplating the economical side more and things will surely change. I hope
