What's your forum's (short term) goal? 10 active members? 100 active members? More? 10k posts? 100k posts? 1 million posts? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

I find that the number of posts you get is just a matter of admin activity. My short term goal (before the end of the summer) is to get 15-20 ACTIVE (1-5 posts a day on average) members, plus a bunch of post-once-a-weekers. _________________ www.nerdcouncil.com - Forums are finally done!!! |

My current short-term goal is to see my travel board reach 100,000 posts. That should happen some time around January by my estimates.

Active members is the problem that I have on my Canadian site. I have a number of posters on the new Ebay Forum and soon I hope to start doing some basic SEO to see if I can get some SE traffic. _________________ Webmaster Blog | Free forums | Free Hit Counter |

If you stop then you feel like everything that you put into the site was a waste.
For my new site I developed a long term plan and whenever I don't meet one of my milestones I will have to rethink. But so far so good. _________________ Webmaster Blog | Free forums | Free Hit Counter |

I had a break away from my forum for a short time, and the extra work involved with cleaning out the spam negated the refreshing benefit of a break.
now i am almost back at square 1 _________________ Gympie E-Business and community Forum |

Just to have some nice members, discuss the topics I love and establish nice and friendly communities. This is a hobby mainly, I am not planning to get rich, just to spend some time with some nice people. _________________ Webmaster Tips & Tricks - Music forums - Movie forums |
