When you launch a new site, do you religiously submit the site to search directories?

Oh yes, deffiently - i submit to around 400 directorys depending on the websites structure and subject...this gets you indexed quite a bit faster and gets you some members without having to wait Smile

q1. How much time did you spend in order to submit to 400 search directories?

q2. Did you use the same title or you used a couple of different titles of the site?

Depends on the site. If it's got no existing traffic then taking the time to submit to directories can only help. Most of my games sites I don't do this for as they kind of have a captured audience anyway.

Hi

I must admit I tend not to do this when a site is created, I do tend to change my signitures at forums around however. When I think about submissions it tends to be when the site is at least 6 months old, no reasoning for this, it is just the way things always seem to happen.
