When you launch a new site, do you religiously submit the site to search directories? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

Oh yes, deffiently - i submit to around 400 directorys depending on the websites structure and subject...this gets you indexed quite a bit faster and gets you some members without having to wait _________________ http://whichbb.com/forum |

q1. How much time did you spend in order to submit to 400 search directories?
q2. Did you use the same title or you used a couple of different titles of the site? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

Depends on the site. If it's got no existing traffic then taking the time to submit to directories can only help. Most of my games sites I don't do this for as they kind of have a captured audience anyway. _________________ CultIdols.com, where the sublime meets the ridiculous. |

Hi
I must admit I tend not to do this when a site is created, I do tend to change my signitures at forums around however. When I think about submissions it tends to be when the site is at least 6 months old, no reasoning for this, it is just the way things always seem to happen. _________________ Phil
