Maybe as addition to your existing site. Otherwise I think not. Sure there are some successful stories out there but to blog every day ?? ... better write articles about some niche instead pointing out your views on current events, as I understand blog is about current events _________________ Soccer Forum

Very time consuming though SE seem to like blog for variety of reasons. I'm thinking about setting up a semi-automated blog here while I make a good use of forum. I'll see what happens ... _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

Just like any website I suppose it is. If it has decent quality and you put ads on the site, you're going to at least make some money.
However, for something as small as one simple blog, I wouldn't advise trying to make a living off of your revenue. _________________ www.nerdcouncil.com - Forums are finally done!!! |

I think it has potential, but I think it takes time. I'm running a blog that is bringing some significant rewards after 6 months of fairly heavy posting (around 150-200 posts per month). I'm optimistic regarding how much it might grow.

I think we need to come up with a way to create a lot of content consistently. I'm not against hard word, but spending so many hours of your day just to write blogs is a productive and effective way to spend your time? I'm not 100% sure. That said, blog, in particular, Word Press seems to have a great mechanism. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

I am hoping that I can incentivise my blog to encourage other bloggers to post at no cost. There will be perks but it won't cost me anything financially. It could prove a good way of increasing post numbers (and thus traffic) without spending too much.

A blog is a great tool especially if you make your money indirectly. I have a few 6month old blogs that I use to gain "vaultage" at Link Vault and then rent out that vaultage. _________________ Webmaster Blog | Free forums | Free Hit Counter |
