What's your take on Commission Junction? Is it a good way to generate revenue online? What's the best way to use Commission Junction? What are upsides? What are downsides?

They have a great selection of QUALITY affiliate advertisers. I just haven't had much success with affiliates but CJ has been good for a couple decent commission checks.

You need to explain to me what ShareSale is because I don't know anything about ShareSale.

It is a program where you pick affiliates and put their banners on your site. There are banners for PPC, pay per lead and pay per sale. You cannot use PPC until you make some sales thou Wink

CJ does pretty much the same thing. Some affiliate programs offer marketing materials like product descriptions and text link ads. I personally have not been very successful; I haven't made much money using CJ.

I have used CJ for another website I had and it helped out pretty good. I didn't want to have a page full of other site links on my site so I stayed away from them on my current business site.

I use it a bit but don't make a great deal through it. I use Tradedoubler in the UK also and generate about £100 a month through that currently. However, my best affiliate income by far comes via AdSense and some direct affiliate associations that we have that are independent of the networks.
