I mean, what's your computer?
I'm currently working on an acer notebook, amd 2600+, half gig of ram. this baby has reliably serviced me with thousands of hours of activity, staying on also when I wasn't actually using it
it's a bit outdated but for what I do it does it pretty well and I don't feel any need of a new laptop (fortunately I'm not a gamer )
what about your ones? _________________ ImageTemple.com | TutorialStream.com |

Not sure what kind though | I thought about getting a laptop, but when I decided to get a laptop, I was quite certain that I'd just use it at my residence/office AND I wouldn't use it outside, so I just decided to get a desktop. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

why can't you run PS on it?
it works smooth with 512 MB of ram (unless you pretend to manipulate 2 square meters print quality images ) _________________ ImageTemple.com | TutorialStream.com |

How much did you pay for it? I'm thinking about getting a machine just to browse the internet for a reason, and I'm curious to know how much machines like that cost. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

I am using a Dell Latitude D810. Pretty nice machine and I take it with me everywhere - but it is a little heavy. _________________ TVandDINNER": Where TV Junkies Unite to talk about TV!

many of you above only have 512 in Ram - how do you function with that low of ram. the new laptops have 1 or 2 gig of ram and operate so much faster! _________________ TVandDINNER": Where TV Junkies Unite to talk about TV!

yea that is good on the graphics end, but I use to say the same thing, until I upgraded to 2 gigs of ram. I CAN NOT believe how fast my computer moves now and especially when I have multiple programs open at the same time and using photoshop, etc.
if you can upgrade your ram i highly suggest it. _________________ TVandDINNER": Where TV Junkies Unite to talk about TV!

I have 896 MB. You're right. 500 MB makes my life difficult. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |
