Have you ever used www.text-link-ads.com/

If so how long did it take for them to get your first sale?

I signed up a while back, couple of weeks, and still haven't gotten a single sale. At this rate I would have been better off leaving Adsense.

I signed up with them a while back (more than a year ago?). From what I understand, this is a legitimate company, but this network gives you so little control over what text link ads you can sell. All you can really do is to wait until the network finds buyers for you. I don’t recommend against it, but if you’re serious about selling text link ads, then you should sign up with other networks also.

I'm not too crazy about their selection process, either. Lacks transparency and I really don't quite understand how they create their inventory.

I personally think adbrite has it all over text link ads....Text-Link had a lot of hype at the beginning but they just dont perform..At least not for me.

Does Adbrite provide text link ads or contextual (inline) ads? I thought that Adbrite provides contextual (inline) ads and banner ads but I didn't know that Adbrite also provides text link ads.

Well they are great ! Sold tons of links with them !

As for approval - you have to have PR4 at least. Their robot checks websites ( even those that were not approved ) when pagerank update take place and they auto send emails out and approve you if you have PR4 at least. Then the price is calculated ... they use alexa, pr, number of pages, etc ... to calculate the price ....

They pay on time every month .....

Sold tons of links...?

But do you make much from that? What kind of revenue do you generate, if you don't mind me asking?

PR4 Required?!

I think thats dumb, because I don't want to pay for PR anyway. Its all about traffic baby.

True pfgannon. If my forums had 100k posts, I could care less about my PR!

I wouldn't care so much about PR, but I would care about traffic. But ... I would care a lot more about revenue.
