If only they had more space and allowed POP3 access | Yahoo needs to generate revenue in some way, and Yahoo does that by running ads. In case of Hotmail/MS, since MS owns the desktop, MS has a good incentive to allow pop3-ish access, but this isn't the case for Yahoo. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

yahoo mail is really good
Qnote, yahoo mail can be accessed via pop3, you just have to activate that function
yahoo mail is also very good as html email recipient, if you have to code html emails, yahoo is one of the best webmails for displaying HTML emails
if you still haven't understood, I like it
the interface is easy to navigate and with no useless stuff around _________________ ImageTemple.com | TutorialStream.com |

I assume you mean regarding how it display html emails
well, more or less the same
it's coded better than hotmail because if you add a <style>body {background-color: #yourcolor}</style> element yahoo won't get screwed, instead hotmails whole page background will get the color you chose
this sucks... _________________ ImageTemple.com | TutorialStream.com |

Yeah, also additional features like folders, address book, etc. What's your take on those features? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

well I don't use these features a lot, I receive all my main mail on addresses like address@domain.com and manage emails with thunderbird so I use only yahoo and hotmail basic functions
I use yahoo to subscribe to some stuff and I have to say that it catches spam really well (ok gmail wins about spam, no doubt)
I don't really use hotmail a lot, I opened an account there just to see how HTML emails show up
I like both graphical implementations, no heavy graphics _________________ ImageTemple.com | TutorialStream.com |

What's your take on thunderbird?
I've been using Outlook Express for the longest time, and it works fine, but I'm looking for something. Outlook is a fine application, but I kind of want to look for a free email application. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

thunderbird rocks
I have been using outlook for ages, then a friend convinced me to try thunderbird and I wouldn't go back to outlook
moreover, organizing email addresses into different folders is more intuitive, email export/import is easy and really works, and it doesn't take ages to start
and I really think it's safer than outlook, you really risk with outlook when you get loads of crap emails, I think thunderbird doesn't allow the email code to be executed as easily as outlook does
I haven't been using outlook for some time (2-3 years) and it might be better now _________________ ImageTemple.com | TutorialStream.com |
