Yahoo Webrank came out a while ago, and it was rumored that it'll be the equivalent of Google PageRank. However, it never really took off or Yahoo decided to not make it available to the public. From what I see, Yahoo seems to have Google PageRank-ish mechanism, but the public has no way of knowing it.

It's not public, no one will care. Webmasters won't be able to see how their site scores, so people buying adspace on those sites won't be able to see a report on the website's "web rank". That basically means webmasters won't care.

Personally, I don't give a damn about that hack!  . Google is the only search engine, in my opinion, an SEO should be trying to rank well for.

Some people have also good traffic from yahoo . I think it's not the best way to Ignore other SE.

I agree. I don't think it's such a bad idea to focus on Google because most of SEO techniques apply to all search engines. However, I don't think it's a good idea to completely disregard Yahoo. Yahoo does have a fair share in the market.

Yahoo updated its SERP a couple of days ago. I'm not so sure if Yahoo implemented TrustRank-ish parameter, but something has changed. I need to look into this and see what Yahoo changed exactly. It seems like I'm losing some traffic from Yahoo, and I need to do something about this.
