Argentina vs. Serbia & Montenegro was one of the most beautiful matches that I've ever watched. Wow, Argentina were terrific and magical. Some teams showed that they were competent and they could really fight (e.g., Germany), but Argentina's display was a form of art. Fantastic. Stunning.

They showed such a beautiful team play that I was really amazed. No other team plays that way anymore. Well for Serbia. We who are from this parts of europe know that there was nothing good in the team because they were playnig for country that don't even exist anymore. And they were listening to anthem that they don't even like and all were looking at the floor while listening. Not to say three of their best players which played in qualifying rounds were not on world cup. And they have shitty coach too hehe
Argentina has a big big chance to do something on this WC ...

Serbia and Montenegro had reasons why they couldn't perform, but, my god, Argentina were stunning. I mean, those 6 goals weren't like ugly goads that some teams produce ***cough*** England ***cough***. And what was that second goal? Fantasy. Arguably one of the best and greatest goals in World Cup, if not, the best and the greatest. That was just not a soccer/football goal; that was a form of Art.

I wish I hadn't missed this match now from the reports I've heard. btw I take your point about ugly goals to an extent but I certainly wouldn't count Joe Coles recent goal as anything resembling ugly

Well, this is a soccer/football match. World Cup 2006 was held in Germany and Argentina and Serbia-Montenegro played a match. Some argue that the match was one of the most entertaining, and the second goal was one of the most beautiful goals in history of World Cup.
