Not really. I was never tempted to back out. It's not like I'm traveling to Iraq with my backpack and staying there in the middle of war zone for years ... _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

I think that's a distinct possibility. I see many posts like the followings:
"What's your favorite song?"
"What's your favorite movie?"
"Who's your favorite actor?"
"Who's your favorite actress?"
"Value of link exchange"
"Value of search directory submission"
Etc. etc. etc.
I wouldn't be surprised if they have a list of posts so that they can copy and paste some of them. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

| Yeah but they can easily be caught too if you do a google search and you see the same post by the same author too so they have to be careful. |

Yeah, probably easy to catch... although I suspect these people like to be paid up front, so getting your money back could be tricky. I have wondered about hiring posters on several occasions but, each time I look at it, it just doesn't seem to make financial sense.

Aaron | This is why many people just spend $50 or so initially. Just get 300 posts or so and see what happens. If you like what you see, you spend $100 - $200 next time. If you still like what you see, then you make a long term commitment. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

Yep... that approach would certainly make sense. I'd like to think, though, that once a rapport is developed that you could call the shots on when you pay. ie. you pay AFTER they've done the work, which is the way it traditionally works in most business circles.

Except for {censored} {censored} {censored} {censored} {censored} lawyers. They take your money beforehand, and they force you to sign an agreement so that you can never get any refund no matter what happens. Not surprisingly, many lawyers do not deliver any result, thus, take money from you for nothing. I hired one such lawyer early this year. It was a reality check ... {censored} {censored} {censored} _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

I've used some services in the early months of PC101 and it provided helpful. The going rate and quality of service varied a LOT. I discovered though that I could hire people directly rather than going through a company. Hiring directly ran 'bout .15 - .20 per post.

Maybe it's different here, but I have never paid a lawyer up-front, always afterwards.

Aaron | ... you're lucky. I've never met any lawyer like that. You do not need to pay any money for many civil rights lawsuits, but those are probably the only exceptions in US. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

I have once been paid about 3-4 cents per post.
I haven't been paid more. Of course, this wasn't a professional job or anything _________________ http://www.myreseller.be

I haven't been paid more. Of course, this wasn't a professional job or anything | How many posts did you make while you were doing that? Also what kind of posts did you make? How many words did you use in each post on average? Was there any requirement? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

The posts could be any topic, so long as it was placed in the correct board. (Mostly about making money, and other GPT programs)
I made enough posts to be paid about $5. I made more after the initial payment, enough to earn around $7, but then the forum was sold and the new owner didn't pay us
There wasn't much of a requirement on the amount of words in each post. I think it was something like more than 3 lines or so. It was pretty easy. I became a moderator and kept other people from spamming, and deducted cash from their accounts
Nah, I wasn't that evil. Anyways, like I said, the new owner scammed us so I quit my moderator position as well. _________________ http://www.myreseller.be
