Yeah, maybe... but it's not physically to do 500 quality posts in 2 hours. You're talking a quality post every 14.4 seconds there.

Aaron | Ok, not in 2 hours, but in 8 hours or so. Now we're talking a minute to make one post. Not impossible. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

This forum http://www.goalchat.com/ hired a paid poster or three. I actually post in this forum frequently, and as far as I see, paid posters provide quality service. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

...but there's not a single poster on there with over 1K posts. It doesn't look to have been done on a very big scale.

I have heard about forum owners doing this and I'd be interested to know how lucrative it is for the regular members. How much do they get from this?

Posting service generally creates multiple accounts, so you can't really tell how many posts they made just by looking at a single account. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

There was a very active cat forum, and the forum was making about $1,500 a month while two people spent a lot of time developing and managing it. I don't know about these webmaster forums. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

500 posts in 2 hours is 1 post every 14 seconds and that has to include reading the topic list, opening a topic, reading it and then posting. There's no way you could add any meaningful content to a forum that way. I think unless you are mass posting drivel there is no way you can make enough for it not to be called slave labour unless you live in a 2nd/3rd world country. _________________ CultIdols.com, where the sublime meets the ridiculous. |

I don't post that many, but I need to stop once in a while and shake my hands and arms. ... I personally have hard time keeping posting for 2 hours or so continuously; I actually need to push myself hard to keep posting for 1 hour continuously. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

OMG! Common sense must prevail somewhere along the line folks!!! How on earth can anybody actually join in on a typed conversation at that rate and make it useful and meaningful? No way they could even grasp the context to begin with! _________________ WebWobot Search Engine & Forums | WebWobot PageTrade Multi-Exchange |

But seriously, I do not look down on paid posting services. I do think that they provide valuable services. However, given my budget, I am not using any of those services at this point. _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

With paid posting services, you should want to ultimately see the money you spend be re-couped (as a result of those posts being made) and, ideally, a little more. I am not convinced this happens with such a service.
