There is no direct connection between newsletter and money making. You cannot make money with newsletter but when you send it out to your subscribers maybe they come to your site see some interesting product and buy it. Newsletters are good for returning visitors to your site but you should not send more than 2/month. Sometimes even 2 are too much _________________ Soccer Forum

You could always sell adspace at the footer, but not everyone on your email list will be happy with that, some will consider it to be spam. _________________ |

I do think that newsletter is meant to be informative letter about news on your site or your views of some events and not an AD. Maybe better would be if you just put half of some article you wrote in newsletter and then link to the rest of it and put ad at the end of the article, but on the page not in email It is cleaner this way. I hate when I get newsletter with ads _________________ Soccer Forum

When I say ads, I mean a little button or text link at the bottom, attached to a healthy article for whatever purpose the newsletter exists. _________________ www.nerdcouncil.com - Forums are finally done!!! |

Sure, you can make money potentially. The main thing, though, I think is getting a large number of subscribers. To achieve that you have to have something that people want to sign up to and you have to be capable of generating awareness of the newsletter in the first place.
