Yes It is ... once you have 10 000+ members I think You can get couple of hundred bucks a month.

Yep when you get that amount of members and couple of hundred or thousand companies will contact you probably to advertise ....

No sadly... my biggest one had just over 5k but it was local based and there are not many advertisers in my country who will pay you for commercial on the internet

If you can get it big enough, forums will make incredible fortunes for you. You can load it with ads that cost $20-30 a month.

I have one with that level of membership. It makes a bit in AdSense but not a fortune. I think forums are sometimes more beneficial in terms of the relationships that you can build through them rather than necessarily the amount you earn directly from them.
