What's your take on Google AdSense? Is it a good way to generate revenue online? What's the best way to use Google AdSense? What are upsides? What are downsides? _________________ Online Education |

It is the best revenue program you can get. The main thing is that you really have ads related to your content so people are more likely to click on ads. And you can use it instead of links on your page to related to your content and you make money too. How can it be better. _________________ Soccer Forum

Yes When I had ads on goalchat.com only 0.70% people clicked on ads .... this is bad. _________________ Soccer Forum

I would think that would be relatively good CTR _________________ Webmaster Blog | Free forums | Free Hit Counter |

Is it a good way...? For sure, most definitely (IMHO).
As for 0.7% being good... not at all. If you integrate ads well, on the right kind of site, you can do far better than that. I have many channels that do in excess of 10% CTR.

Oh, by the way, we're just talking about contextual ads right? Google AdSense TOS doesn't allow us to talk about CTR, so, of course, we're not doing that, right? _________________ Travel News Online College Degree |

i think adsense is good but you will need good traffic to really see the payouts 400-500 people daily will not make you a lot, there are other programs out there which could pay you a lot more than adsense for the 400 people who visit your website. _________________ Beach Holidays |

AdSense is definitely the way to go.
It's the msot targetted advertising you'll probably find aside from selling advertising space to specific companies. If you have a very broad array of topics on your website, you can be sure that the AdSense ads will always show relevent ads, thus increasing the likelihood of a click and you earning compensation.
Having said that, I hardly make anything through AdSense because my site isn't established enough yet. I plan to stick with AdSense though and hopefully through time traffic and revenue will grow. _________________ Nutty Chipmunk Productions
