That's forums for you. I really don't think forums are that easy to get off the ground. Once you've got those regulars in place, things tend to fall into place but it's getting to that point that's so difficult.

I've received feedback from web visitors that they feel adsense cheapens a site. It's like 'the advertising you use when you can't use anything else'

Maybe that's true, but you have to balance that with your AdSense earnings, and make up your mind as to which you option you think is the best route to take...

Another thing is that 99.999 ... % of us (or maybe slightly less) do not have luxury of making good things and providing good services just for fun, while we generate zero income from those good things and services. So, there ought be some way to generate income. Is AdSense the best way to balance out the two? Maybe not the best, but one of better ways.

I think it's one of the best out there. The alternative IMO would be your own advertising scheme or affiliate advertising.

In my opinion it is. I already tested bidvertiser and clicksor and both are not so good like Adsense

I haven't tested the others at all. I just can't see how they can remotely compete when Google has such a strong market share and a much better ad inventory.
