I can't say that I do very often. I find that if he has anything interesting to say his blog is linked to the numerous webmaster forums that I frequent.

I don't read it religiously. I only check occasionally. The blog seems to report important events occasionally, but the blog also seems to avoid reporting important events. Also the blog is one of marketing tools of Google if you ask me. It's not exactly a distinctive journalism.

That is exactly why I only check it our when someone else points it out. If I really want news I check out Aaron Wall's or Shoemoney's blogs.
They seem to have more relevant information that is sourced well than Matt Cutts

Yeah I've read parts of it. I really don't see anything special about the information, it's no better than the stuff I can find everywhere else.

He's a Google employee presumably and he has his own blog. He often discusses about Google's latest changes, and many webmasters check his blog frequently. With regard to its content, there are two ways to interpret:
1. It is a valuable live resource provided by a Google employee.
