How often do you click on ads powered by Google and published on various websites?

Depends what I am looking for really, I will follow links in ads by google that look more interesting than the page I am viewing. If I am reseaerching something I will go wherever I can get the info I need.

I tend to overlook them because I'm on the site that has the ads for a reason and I don't want to have to backtrack to find it again. If the ad is something that really catches my interest or I was about to leave that particular site anyway, then I'll occasionally follow a Google ad link but not very often.

I don't usually click them.. simply because I know what they are heh. Some times, if the ad looks more interesting than the website, like highpeak said, I will click the ads. Or, if I enjoy the website a lot, I may click a link just to help them out a bit, but don't tell Google I said that...

I usually don't click on ads. I click only if ads are really about something I am looking for. I usually buy then .... but that is rare occasion

I find that webmasters don't often click on ads. Myself I will click on them if it happens to be something that I am looking for. That usualyl happens on content ads and not on the search ones.

Also it is a shame the number of people who mislead their audience by not correctly writing the ads.

If the site isnt blatanly trying to squeeze money out of google i'll click on an ad.

If my trip to the search engine resulted in an annoying doorway page, i'll not click out of principle.

I will click on an advert on two conditions.

1) I think the owner of the website deserves to make some money
2) If the advert is something that interests me.

If it meets those two conditions I will click it. Generally I will click aroudn 5 adverts a week.

I click on ads in the search results, but usually not on the content network. This is primarily because I have Adsense ads blocked with the adblock extension for Firefox so I don't accidentally click on my own ads. I find that the ads in the search results are often better matches for what I'm trying to find than the organic results. This is escpecially true of products and services.

Sometimes I click because I see some interesting things.

I tend to look at the url if I can see it and type it on the browser. I only click on them if what I read or see is really interesting.
