I would have to say 5% of the time. It really depends on what I am looking for.

Quite rarely really as the main results always seem to bring up what I need. I tend to click on ads more if they are on a publishers website.

If I weren't a webmaster, I'd click on them more often...but since I know what they are there for, I usually skip them...however, I will admit that they are very appealing because they always seem to be exactly what I'm looking for

Never. I'm always looking for free sites, and it costs a ton to advertise on Google, so they obviously wouldn't be free.

As has been said, around 95% of the ads are selling something. The 5% that are not are most likley to be full of ads. [Which is why I block the advertisments on Google Search altogether.

| I click ads all the time when I am searching, usually they are new sites that may provide something the older ones don't but don't have the high ranking because they are new. |

Well if i see an ad i like, i goto the addres instead of clicking it...so the advertiser still has 1 extra click

Not very often.
When I want to buy something online I usually know where to go and since most adverts are to sell you something, I usually avoid them.
